Introducing the Nine Pillars
of Well-Being.

Message to All the Men Out There:

You've had your share of challenges: ups, downs, wins, losses, successes, failures, good jobs, bad jobs, good health, bad health, happy relationships, toxic relationships, etc. I can relate and that's the inspiration for my Well-Being blog.

Before you know it, you have likely already peaked in some ways: work is no longer meaningful, fewer friends, earnings has stagnated, learning has stalled, sex is dull, emotions drain your energy, muscle strength has declined, your diet sucks, or it's harder to get a good night's sleep. You are not alone.

But there's good news!

Our Well-Being improves as we age!

But Well-Being requires work, and you need to actively manage the Nine Pillars of Well-Being to get there. However, the biggest BATTLE you fight is the one against YOURSELF.

You are the enemy!

Control the enemy.

Hello, I'm Peter Pavlina.

If you are a Man interested in a better life, centered on Well-Being, this website is for you. You are aware of the challenges of trying to live up to everyone's expectations. The goal of this site is to provide you with valuable information well worth the time you invest on it.

The Good News is you know how to live a life that promotes Well-Being for yourself and your community.

The Bad News is you don't always, if ever, live that way because you are fighting the enemy. The enemy is you!

The Well-Being Framework establishes a systematic way to ACTIVELY manage your pursuit of Well-Being. You may blame work, time, injury, depression, anxiety, someone else, or come up with plenty of other excuses when it's your lack of focus on The Well-Being Framework that's holding you back from Well-Being.

We need to be proactive to cultivate, manage and build our resiliency around Well-Being. What is good for the Brain is good for the Body. What is good for the Body is good for the Brain.
Happy Life!
